ABOUT ME

Studio Kenya is the creative practice of Dublin-based designer and illustrator Kenya Dempsey.

Known for bold poster design and vivid hand-lettering, Kenya’s work draws from rave culture, psychedelia, and DIY energy — fusing colour, type, and image into dynamic visual identities. She is co-founder of the queer club night Rathaus, where her posters shape the identity of each event’s theme; playful, raw, camp,          or chaotic.

A member of Illustrators Ireland, Kenya works with a range of Irish-based companies and agencies, including Rí Ra and The Tenth Man.

Alongside her design practice, she is expanding into mural work working with brands such as Jaegermeister as well as multidisciplinary projects, with a focus on creating experiences that feel emotionally charged and               visually distinctive.
